You hear about how to break into UX Design, but you don’t hear about how to break out of it as a steppingstone. After a long career in it, how do you evolve beyond it?
I searched online for answers. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any, but I approached this by likening people to products. Each has a purpose, they grow, mature, and eventually retire. However, people evolve differently to serve different purposes. With this in mind, I turned to design for answers.
I used a modified version of the double diamond design process because it can be applied to a person the same way it’s used to evolve products. Now I’m iterating myself.
